of course you can! if i remember correctly on a PC, you basically do the same thing. you just use a website like keepvid.com to download a youtube video, and then import it using photoshop. try looking around http://icon-tutorial.livejournal.com/tag/animation%3A%20animated%20gifs for some spiffey tutorials. hope this helps! :)
